On Friday the 22nd of May 2015, Wiskundig Studiegenootschap Abacus organises the Kaleidoscoopdag. This is a national mathematical symposium which is organised by a different university every year. Because the theme for this year is Safe&Secure it is interesting for computing science students as well.
Various speakers will talk about security from a mathematical point of view. The talks will range from cryptography to the use of math at the Ministry of Defense.
To attend the symposium, including lunch and borrel afterwards, there is a small fee of 3 euros. For students of Cover, it's possible to get the traveling costs towards Enschede refunded.
